It’s been great enjoyment watching the career of Sydney’s Boy & Bear unfold since I started following them in 09′. The video for their first single ‘Southern Sun’ off the upcoming album Harlequin Dream was just released, and it was instant love. In the first minute, I not only identified the music videos site as beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand, but felt as if I could breathe in the fresh mountain air thanks to the video’s outstanding cinematography. It’s a perfect pairing for the fresh, folky track which leaves anticipation running high for the August release of Harlequin Dream.

Along with this news comes the track ‘Do I want to know?’, which suggests their next efforts will be a continuation of the Josh Homme-influenced desert rock of both Humbug and Suck it and See.
